Its basically an updated Nexus 7 first gen.  Improvements are an SD card slot so you cna have more storage via sd card. many people wnat this extra capacity and manufactyrers take pleasure in not offering it you to cut costs. Als a good way of making you pay over the odds for models with greater memory.  5MP camera which nexus 2012 didnt have.  Its slightly slower.
