SIMPKIN’S SWEETS

 

They come in tins does us sweets that we do,

All different flavours and colours too,

Mixed fruit seem to be the most popular flavour,

Once in your mouth the taste to savour,

From botanical sweets in plastic jars

To tubs that can sit in cup holders in cars,

Choc centres we make are a real delight,

And even lozenges for that tickly cough at night,

We do sweets twist wrapped and in little bags,

A new frog in the throat in little stick packs,

For nearly hundred years from recipes old and new,

These sweets have been made available to you,

For shops such as Harrods and Fortnum’s and Boots,

They sell our several different types of fruits,

All over the world you will see our tins,

Just look for the gold tin with the name Simpkins.
