I was suspicious, went on hmrc website, there's a section on there about the same scam, shows a list of email addresses they use, gives a link to forward the email, which I did and got a reply from them to confirm it is definitely a scam and not to open the attachment as it has a virus, if you manage to open it they get access to all your personal details I.e. your bank details.
