Clown Shoes   10 #13 Posted February 21, 2014 Thanks, but to be honest, I don't think I could bear to cut it up.  Why not? Im sure it didnt have arms when they cut it off the animal.
 Share this content via...
Oldtrout   10 #14 Posted February 21, 2014 It's obviously made from the furs of many animals, not just one, and I didn't cut the animals up to make the jacket.  I wouldn't like to cut it up because it would spoil the pelts, and would seem quite disrespectful to the animals who died in the making of the jacket ... that's why not!! maryjane   11 #19 Posted February 22, 2014 The dogs in the Sheffield pound would be very glad of it on a cold night, think that would be a fitting tribute to it.
 Share this content via...
Blaschka   10 #20 Posted February 22, 2014 A close family member died recently and I've been clearing his house. I've found a ladies real fur jacket which has been carefully stored away for about 25 yrs. I don't know what to do with it, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for recycling.  Any idea what fur it is? It could be quite valuable, or worth next to nothing depending on the answer.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=fur+coat&_sop=16  As for it being the product of dead animals, well they died a long time ago. To just bin it would be in some way disrespectful to their lost lives.
 Share this content via...
