thousands of German civilians - no matter if guilty or innocent- were put into camps between 1945 and 1947 in Eastern Europe to be mistreated and killed by sadists not much better than the nazies.

maybe we should have some acknowledgement of their guilt?

No doubt their ages, when and if they committed these crimes, will be taken into consideration, when and if they are found guilty.

 

They should stand trial.
