Gas connection to commercial property

Recommended Posts

has anybody used national grid or British gas to get a gas connection to their commercial property what was the total process like and estimated costs. British gas gave me a very estimated quote of upwards of £2000 to get a connection

Have they got far to go to connect you or is the supply already there? If you aren't already close to the mains it a very cheap price.

The national grid prices look cheap, see what they say. We needed gas and waste water connections when we renovated our barn. There were both to our property but we are the last house on the mains. We were quoted several thousand pounds to be connected. I can't remember how much we paid on the end but our builder did most of the initial digging to cut down on costs.

Hi you say its a commercial property what do you do I.e that may affect the size of your gas metre/supply and cut cost, most standard gas metres could run a 50Kw boiler which is big enough for most shops and medium sized offices.

If you need a quote for any fitting please contact me

Thanks
