Bonzo77   13 #277 Posted February 13, 2014 Perhaps your boyfriend should do risk assessments:hihi:  Perhaps you need to get out more.  ---------- Post added 13-02-2014 at 15:53 ----------  In that case you're not fit to be a parent. Even the most biased of dog lovers would agree that no breed of dog should ever be left alone with a child. I bet the owner of this dog that's killed the child also said "I'm also certain that my dog would never hurt a child".  I would leave my child alone with my dog. I have done, and I continue to do so. Who are you to state what being a good parent is all about?
 Share this content via...

Boothybabe   10 #279 Posted February 13, 2014 But some people on this thread seem to think it only applies to Staffies. They don't seem to realise that any breed of dog could react in the same way.  The difference is how difficult it would be to stop a staffie once the threshold had been passed. ivanava   10 #283 Posted February 13, 2014 It's been described as a pit bull, so what was it specifically? Staffy is a type of pit bull. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pit_bull  http://www.itv.com/news/story/2014-0...dog-blackburn/  No it isn't, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier is legal and recognised by the Kennel Club and pit bull isn't.
