The trouble with Sheffield buses is many routes all go down the same main roads. They all head in a relatively straight route into town. Could do with more routes serving different areas, without them all going into town. It gets expensive having to change buses to get anywhere other than town.

Well its all about demand, the number of people wanting to get from Gleadless to Batemoor (as an example) is much less than those who want to get from Gleadless to town.

 

There isnt unlimited money for tendered services and those those that arent tendered, bus companies will want to make a profit.

Wow new buses That will make a change from the worn out Leyland Olympians from the early 90's they were running recently.

TMT? I thought that all its fleet on svc. 30 (and 4/4A) was Optares.
