TM Travel - bus route 30 relaunch

TM Travel held a launch event today at Crystal Peaks bus station to show off one of their brand new buses. These new Optare Versa single deckers in their special bright Orange 'Sheffield's Line 30' livery are due to go into service on Tuesday 11th February.

 

Route 30 runs from Crystal Peaks, Beighton and Handsworth via Sheffield Parkway into the City Centre, every 30 minutes Mon-Sat daytime and hourly evenings and Sundays.

 

A day ticket costs £3.60 and a weekly ticket costs £11.50.

And just to top it off it won't be crammed full of OAPs with those huge shopping trolleys until half past 9 :banana::banana::banana:

of course at the moment Stagecoach is cheaper if you buy a half price weekly Megarider online...

 

But yes. TM Travel have new buses. Who'd have thunk it.

I doubt if their new buses will improve TM Travel timekeeping.

I will do online shopping so will not need such a bulky item, Times change for the better its not 1964 anymore where everyone has to spent coupons darnt co op.

Optare, whilst based in Leeds, is merely a packaging of a German chassis with a locally-built body.

It took over the much-respected Charles H. Roe bus bodying firm.
