Peregrine falcons.

Recommended Posts

They spend time further along the drainage channel. Sometimes the camera is zoomed out to show them.
Thanks for the info, had no idea.

The young one is crafty. Dad brought some food and little one snatched it and ran off before others got a look in

Where has the Notts chick got a pigeon from. It's the only one in the nest

Dad just appeared with a startling but still no sign of other three chicks.

It's so windy in Nottingham that the camera is shaking but the smallest chick is helping itself to left over food as the others sleep

Not Sheffield related but the penguin cam at Edinburgh Zoo is worth a look - http://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/webcams/penguin-cam/?camID=2458

NO! you can't hit them on the head if you put 20p in the slot machine at the seaside - but it does remind you of that game at first glance

In the next few weeks the falcons will fledge the nest so why not watch the penguins hatch for a change?
