Frederick Auty. KIA WW2.

Recommended Posts

Some 4 years ago I attempted on this Forum to learn more about my Dad's pal Frederick Auty

Private, Parachute Regt. 11408291 killed in action 13th of June 1944. His name is commemorated on the Bayeux Memorial.

I received a reply from Daisy1978 and then unfortunately for whatever reason the correspondence suddenly stopped ! Daisy1978 hasn't been active on here since. Are you still out there using a different name ? Has anybody knowledge of Fred ?

Hi BrianW and a big thanks. Will show the photo to my cousin tomorrow who remembers Fred.

My Dad never mentioned Fred, I was made aware of him by my elder brother.

Would be nice to meet his children and find out a little bit more about him !

Hi Sylvia Philips, are you out there or does anyone know her ?

Sylvia has posted information on the web about Fred, I am presuming she is Fred's grand daughter.

Would be nice to make contact with her !!
