Let me guess , a film about a man  with violent revenge in mind . Bronson did it far better and that was 40 years go  .

 It’s a true story about a girl who was abducted in 1984 by a serial killer and survived.  
I enjoyed this film.

At the end of the film I’m sure it said that Long was still in prison but after many appeals over the years he was executed in 2019.  I can remember his death being reported on TV.

Yes ,it said he was on death row . The film was released in 2018 , so before his execution.

Apologies, but I thought most people knew about Long’s demise. The story is really about how Lisa survived her ordeal and how she helped the police to catch him.

It’s still worth watching to see how clever and brave she was.  I better not say anymore.
