'Top Gun: Maverick' - 8/10

Should only be viewed on the Big Screen. TV screens can never do the entire spectacle and sound of the flick justice.

Over the last Bank Holiday, we went to see. 'Downton Abbey: A New Era'.

Not really my thing but my wife likes the tv series & last film & overall I found it an easy watch but one of the sub-plots was directly pinched from 'Singing In The Rain' with a silent film being made at Downton when suddenly the 'talkies' arrive & the leading actress of the day has a really common, working class voice that doesn't fit with her image,  so her part has to be dubbed by one of the Downton daughters.

6/10.

No mate, its a 2021 Taiwanese horror film. Try reading beyond the first line next time.

Also: was that a question? You need to include a question mark lovey.  And you probably meant "posts", not "post". Happy to help.

I agree with 9/10

Im not sure ‘enjoyed’ would be the right word to use, especially for certain parts, but it’s a great film.

Horror films are so tame these days, this was something else. And not a nicey nicey ending either. Loved it.

The Fourth Protocol - 8/10

Great Cold War spy thriller starring Michael Caine and Pierce Brosnan as an MI5 officer trying to track down a Soviet agent and prevent him from completing his mission to detonate a small nuclear weapon near an American air force base in the UK.

Based on the novel by Frederick Forsyth which is excellent.

Midnight in the Switchgrass

Its a true story about a truck driver who is a serial killer, or should I say it’s based on a true story because you could tell the end of the film has been sensationalised and not based on the truth.

I enjoyed the film tho and it’s wasn’t to long.

 Netflix 7/10
