Taken 10/10

The world's most Irish-sounding American, saves the world's oldest-looking teenager, from some of the world's hairiest criminals.

Ghostbusters afterlife.

What's not to like ????

21 foot of 1959 6.5 ltr V8, Left hand drive Cadillac ambulance sideways on in a field .

Fully enjoyed every second.

Lots of bits to make you jump, full of comedy and clever mumbo jumbo reminiscent of the first one.

Haven't seen the 2nd one yet so will have to watch that as well.

Might as well start with the first one while we're at it  .

9/10

Fully recommend

Enjoy 8) .

Motherless Brooklyn - 8/10

1950s set film noir about a private detective with Tourette's syndrome who obsessively starts to investigate a murder and finds a web of deceit and corruption (don't they all).

Slow paced, Chinatown-esqe movie that is raised uo a notch by having such an interesting protagonist, played well by Edward Norton.

Night Hunter on Netflix

Henry Cavill and Ben Kingsley star in this film.

Cavill is a detective hunting a serial killer.

Kingsley, who was once a Judge, is a vigilante who hunts paedophiles then castrates them when he catches them.

9/10

Brazen on netflix .  If you like watching Murder She Wrote on a quiet Sunday afternoon this is for you  . Forget the mid titillation , it is a carbon copy   . 1/10 and it gets that high score because my good lady wanted to watch it and we did . Never to be seen again

'Tulip Fever' on BBC2. First new film on TV that I've seen and enjoyed in a long while. With Alicia Vikander, Judy Dench and the wonderful Christoph Waltz. All about the  bazarre tulip gold rush in Amsterdam in the 1600s, wrapped up with a traumatic love story. It was beautiful to look at, quality acting and held your interest right to the end.  I'd give it 9/10

The Sisters Brothers

The film is set in the American West in 1851. Two brothers are assassins who work for a man known as the Commodore.

I thought the film was brilliant.  It was on BBC2,  I recorded it.

10/10
