Jolt 7/10
Kate Beckinsale (Underworld) stars as a woman afflicted with intermittent explosive disorder.
Action comedy that has some very funny moments as deeply unpleasant characters cross her irritation line.

Decent Sunday morning romp, but at best it's a 6/10.

Firstly, and probably most importantly, The Rock looks to old to be a romantic lead to (the very lovely) Emily Blunt. Therefore, for me, the whole premise didn't work as the director probably intended.

Then there's the annoying brother character who is a pale imitation to John Hannah's in The Mummy.

It's all a bit by-the-numbers as you'd expect from a Disney movie aimed primarily aimed at kids.

It wants to be 'Indiana Jones' and fails by miles. I'd hoped for some kind of 'African Queen' nod but didn't see anything other than The Rock's character dresses a bit like Humphrey Bogart's Charlie.

No post-credit scenes, but a sequel is a given.

Blood Red Sky  6/10 . On Netflix

I don't do Vampires or Zombies,

but enjoyed Blood Red Sky.

OK there's so many annoying bits in it but i'd still give it a 7.5

Nice twist, worth watching but  don't expect too much.

Maybe its just me but at one point on the plane , the main female was wearing a black wig and sunglasses and I immediately thought she was a ringer for Patti Smith .

Palm Springs 8/10. Straight into my top ten time loop films.

Orbiter 9 6/10. Good looking but preposterous.

Also to add, everyone with a reasonably strong stomach should see Dead Man's Shoes 9/10. Visits to Matlock have never been the same since.

Gary Stretch lead Villains face rang a bell when I saw the film,  I rememberd him being an ex world Boxing Champion.

He was a decent boxer back in the day.  I was pleasently surprised to see him acting.

Yes Gary Stretch played his part well and Paddy Considine got the Derbyshire accent spot on.

Worth watching just to see Riber Castle again.

Happy Daze taking Kids to the Zoo (before the activists started letting the Otters out)

Poor film dodgy story line 6/10.

Matlock Bath, Sheffield Bikers Heaven.

Keep safe.
