Pain In Nose, above eyebrows and cheeks

Recommended Posts

Just rang the doctors and was told to take painkillers and call back in a couple of days if these haven't gone. Does anyone know of way to help ease these?

I've suffered sinus problems for years. Ibuprofen works well.

I have the solution: steaming your face REALLY helps!

I suffered for the first time in my life late last year and I was in agony. Someone recommended steaming my face and it provided relief almost immediately.

So try that and it should help :)

I agree with both of these.

Steam first, ibuprofen afterwards.

Definitely sounds like sinusitis. I used to suffer from it a lot. But I've never had it for some reason after coming to the UK 2 yrs back ! touchwood !!

Steaming definitely helps. Its softens the mucus and aids drainage. Its not a quick fix, so to alleviate severe pain, the painkillers will help.

Keep steaming at regular intervals and hope you get better. Good luck with your recovery.

I agree with this. Steaming, especially with one or two crystals of menthol works wonders. These can be bought from the chemist and when I say one or two crystals, I really mean this. Any more and its like putting dynamite up your nose.
