Large oil drum wanted for use as an incinerator

anyone any idea where i can get a large drum from. to be used on allotment as a rubbish burner

Some oil drums have lids, as opposed to being made as a sealed drum. I have one you can have if you have not got fixed up yet.

I know this is an old thread but if anyone wants a drum I have a few large ones going spare. They are steel drums open at one end. Only had them a few weeks so in good condition. Can be used as rubbish burners.

 

UPDATE: These have all gone now.

Make sure that there are lots of holes in the bottom of the drum and stand it off the ground or the fire will not burn properly due to oxygen starvation, a few in the side near the bottom to rake the ashes that clog the holes is also a good idea.
