He worked for a firm called Phonotas which (if memory serves me right) cleaned telephones in offices.  I remember seeing him on Attercliffe near to the junction with Staniforth Road he was issuing religious leaflets. I uswed to live in Sheffield but moved to chesterfield not to far away was born in Rotherham so stayed within twenty miles I love Yorkshire to much to leave it all together  Not sure if he ever actually lived here, just used to visit a lot I think.
