I Phone 3 repair

Recommended Posts

My son had his phone knocked out of his hand by a drunk whilst he was waiting for a bus. He is 16 so he thinks " its the end of the world "

I know little about phones so can anyone tell me if the screen be repaired ? if so where and how much approximately

Thanks

Computers Direct at Shoreham Street, he can sort them. You could do it yourself, not that hard a job really.

If you're handy you can do it yourself for around £20 or the iPhone 3G/3GS is fairly cheap to buy, around £50/60 to get a decent used one.

FoneFun shop at Handsworth. It's just off the Asda roundabout, Left turn if approaching from the city centre. Though you could probably pick a working one up off here for around the same cost as a repair, maybe less.

really easy to do yourself , as said already the screens are around £20 , all you do is .... firstly turn off/power down the phone , take out the 2 tiny cross head screws at the bottom , then usually with a screen you get a little sucker which you place on the old screen at the bottom , the screen lifts out bottom first and there some ribbon connections at the top inside , just be delicate with these they push in/on, then fit the new screen in reverse to what you just did
