I didn't see the SYCONNECT tickets mentioned

SYConnect18 7 Day £10.80

Unlimited travel on any bus or tram throughout South Yorkshire for young people aged 16 to 18.

Needs free personalised smart card

http://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/viewticket.aspx?id=17179873162

Yes- South yorkshire Connect, Connect South and Travelmaster Gold all offer discounts for those aged under 26.

I thought it would start looking very complicate if those were listed alongside the full prices.

See http://www.sytravelmaster.com for all those prices.

I've also not yet listed student offers.

It is unnecessarily complicated isn't it! I just thought I'd mention those as I spent a good while trying to find the best ticket for my 18 yr old.

Stagecoach Student Bus Only flat single fare offer £1

First Student flat single fare offer £1.00

Many Sheffield College and other students of Universities outside Sheffield have had problems with getting these fares as they were originally defined by both companies as being available only to University of Sheffield and Hallam University students.

Over several years the practice of accepting NUS Extra cards for older Sheffield College students has become common as has accepting other Universities NUS cards.

Both companies do not want to define "Available with a valid University, NUS or NUS Extra or ISIC ID card " to mean any issued by College, 6th form or University. They seem happy to rely on the discretion of the driver.

I'm surprised the £1 offer still exists to be honest - it goes back to the days of Stagecoach v First on the 52 and 120 along with the Unibus 80.
