Hot tubs worth it?

Recommended Posts

I bought a wardrobe off someone on here near the general hospital and when I picked it up she showed me her hot tub

Sounds like the plot line for a porno!

I cannot understand why anybody would want to sit/lounge around in a hot tub.

If you want one, buy one. If I had enough money spare to buy one then I probably would too. Love the idea of getting in one during a cold evening/snow.

Try it then you will understand. The water is lovely and warm, the weight of your body is supported in it and the jets have a massage effect on the muscles. The user comes out of it loosened up, warm and relaxed.

Have you heard of hydrotherapy? Physiotherapists use it for various ailments and a hot tub is just a smaller version of a hydrotherapy pool. If you had a condition such as rheumatoid/osteo-arthritis or another painful illness you would understand completely why people like to sit around in them.

Calling all hot tub owners, are they worth it ?

Absolutely ages ago I bought a wardrobe off someone on here near the general hospital and when I picked it up she showed me her hot tub and ever since then it's always been in mind to get one so now that I am a home owner I guess I've got the chance to do so I just kind of wondered what peoples experiences are. Are they as expensive to run as people make out and do you tend to use a lot or does the novelty wear off in the end?

Thanks in advance

Yes! they are ace ..... Even with the rain , snow etc.... its great! Love it! get one! ... To heat up and run is no more than a washing machine for an hour.

I HAVE got osteo arthritis in various joints including my spine, but I still wouldn't want to sit around in one. ( Just my personal preference I suppose.)
