Meh, if a gang of blokes broke into a Royal Mail sorting office today and beat up the staff before running off they'd hardly be eulogised like this lot have been.

I really don't get the adoration that some criminals get.

A violent crime that ended the career of the train driver after he was beaten over the head. Obviously the OP is seduced by the glamourisation of violent crime.

Good riddence to the theiving scum.

read up on it, he had nothing to do with the coshing and indeed was the last to be recruited, he was a bit part player, he only became a folk hero because he escaped from jail and stuck two fingers up to the system

Just gullible enough to fall for it though.

There is something in law called "Joint Enterprise". Ronnie was very much part of the enterprise in which Jack Mills was beaten.

Not a hero imo but a pain in the ars ete to the british police because they coudnt nail the guy.The sentences given back in that era were ott imo considering how we deal with deviants and the likes.Still rip tho

A violent criminal who only came back to the UK after he had spent his stolen money so he could obtain free health care.
