Instead of smoking, why dont people just chew tobaco... would still help people relax, they could pretend to be cowboys and cowgirls, and there is little chance of setting buses on fire.

Fair point,and think you could be on to something. If we took the concept of personalised phone covers, there could be a whole new industry providing personalised spit buckets (the best ones would need to be made of tin of course!). And whoever gets the tin to "tingggg" from furthest away..... there the coolest cat on the block.
