Urgent help to find a Mario bros substitute

I'm looking for a game that works on windows 8 platform that can also be used with MakeyMakey. We had wanted to use Mario bros but are having difficulty in finding a viable downloadable version:help: needed to demo stuff for kids to learn basic electronics. Thanks in anticipation

The game needs to use the control keys ie up, down, right and left arrow keys and possibly also the space bar. Thanks

You could download an emulator for either nes, snes, or gameboy and assign the controls to those buttons.

yes that's just the job thanks - now I just need to figure out how it works with W8.1 and MakeyMakey but at least I've got a few weeks before our next event to sort it out.
