tonyfiaz   10 #1 Posted December 6, 2013 Hi I have been to a NHS dentist on Abbeydale rd and I might as well have gone to Charles Clifford the trainee dental hospital. initially went in for check up and have had tooth ache for over 2 weeks. The Slovac or Polish dentist put sum filling in my tooth and I had to go back a week later and she did it again but its hurting and now she wants to drill it even deeper and start again. This will be the 3rd attempt and im not sure she knows what shes doing anymore and don't want to lose my tooth to some damn incapable dentist. Does anyone know a good dentist who could help me please?
 Share this content via...

richkent   10 #5 Posted December 6, 2013 Castle Dental Practice, City Road. The only place I could find that was taking on NHS patients. Sorted out a tooth that another dentist claimed was too far gone and would need to come out if there were any further problems. GoGo_dancer   10 #7 Posted December 6, 2013 Thompson & Thomas at Fairlawns (middlewood or langsett road) are good  Agreed, these guys are lovely. You don't often see the same dentist twice as it is a teaching practice but everything is well supervised and the people are very sympathetic.  I had some terrible treatment at one of the drop-in places on Abbeydale Road.... several botched root canal treatments resulted in me loosing three back teeth and developing a major fear of dentists.
