Xbox one and xbox 360

Getting an Xbox one when comes out in shops. But son wants to keep Xbox 360 as well. We both use same live account and gamer tag.

 

I have heard that you can possibly use same gamer tag / live account on both consoles is this true?

Yes, but they go very quickly the smyths toy store at drakehouse had 6 in and sold in a couple of hours.

Flipping hell, will the x box 1 be backwards compatible, I mean will it play 360 games. I understand the ps4 won't play ps3 ones, just like the 3 wouldn't play ps2 ones.

Don't think it is tbh. Would explain why you can use your XBL on both consoles.

Both are not backwards comparable but sony should allow you to stream all the older games from ps1/2/3 when it's gaikai service gets up and running next year.

 

The O2 deal also includes a Nokia phone and contract plus the xbone.
