Bank life policy on individual

Have recieved communication from bank on an individual who died a number of years ago confirming policy held in event of death. any idea as to how to find relatives?

Individual died at least 7 years ago.

You can hire a tracing agent to track them down but it will cost. May I ask what your relationship with the deceased was, and why the bank have written to you?

 

I would ask their advice, it won't be the first time this kind of situation has arisen.
