Corns on little toe

Hows the best way to get rid of a corn? How much to have it cut of at the specialist the GP wont do it.

Short term speak to the chemist.

 

Long term, buy bigger shoes. Corns are caused by pressure I believe....you don't see barefoot tribes with corns!

Corns are due to pressure. Corns usually need to be removed (cut out), otherwise they are likely to become more painful over time. In order to reduce the chances of the corn recurring, consider alternative footwear and possibly using corn pads to disperse pressure. Corn pads impregnated with substances are not recommended, as they tend to macerate the area around the corn. A Podiatrist/Foot Health Practitioner is the best person to remove a corn.
