neeeeeeeeeek   10 #1 Posted November 16, 2013 Google maps still lets you make some maps off line with the ok maps command, but it won't let me save the map of budapest.  Are there any other map applications that let you use maps off line?  ---------- Post added 16-11-2013 at 20:02 ----------  Found loads of Budapest apps with off line maps so sorted now. Obelix   11 #5 Posted November 20, 2013 Rmaps is nice as a free one, but Maverick is probably best as others have said if you are willing to pay a little.
 Share this content via...

Waldo   96 #7 Posted November 22, 2013 Have been using Nav Free, works okay. Tried Maverick, and couldn't seem to download the map data, it needed a constant internet connection to work.
 Share this content via...

walkertelecoms   16 #10 Posted November 29, 2013 Been using googlemaps for a couple of years now. Took ages to get used to it after 8 years of TomTom. Eventually installed TomTom Android on another phone I take on holiday for the zero data usage. Live version of TT is pretty expensive, is why I now prefer GM. If you've a gig or more data allowance not an issue, I use it every day and my phone also syncs email every 3 minutes and uses around 300mb/month if that.
