Bring Maddie Home. Missing Dog - S21

Recommended Posts

£500 reward offered for safe return of Maddie, missing Jack Russell bitch, 15 months. Vanished in the High Moor area of Killamarsh (S21).NEUTERED.

Description

Maddie is a 15 month old Jack Russell. She's all white apart from her face & ears. Both her ears & half of her face are black.

She disappeared on her usual walk in the High Moor area of Killamarsh on 4-11-2013 at about 11.30am for an unknown reason. We suspect she chased a rabbit or bird.

She was wearing a black synthetic collar which doesn't have an ID tag on it but she is mircochipped.

She is a huge part of our family. We have 4 other dogs who are depressed & don't understand why she's not there. We desperately want her back and so THERE IS A REWARD FOR HER SAFE RETURN.

Call any of the following numbers day or night if you find her or have any info:

07833230431

07824741133

01142477471

01909478581 (will only be answered in the day)

or message the page. A call would be preferred however as it will get the information to us faster.

Information About Maddie's Journey:

04-11-2013: Maddie disappeared while out on her usual walk. We searched the area for 5 hours straight, then went back in the dark but found no sign of her.

05-11-2013: A tracker dog followed Maddie's scent from the fields at High Moor, across a footbridge over the M1, through some fields into Barlborough. Then we had to turn back as it was getting dark & we had a long walk back to the cars.

06-11-2013: The tracker dog came back out & showed that Maddie had doubled back on herself, but continued through the fields rather than cross the footbridge again. This lead her to the Pebley Pub & round the back of Pebley Reservoir. She passed through some of the trees & out onto Harthill Lane, which connects Harthill & the A618. At the junction, the tracker stopped for the day.

07-11-2013: The tracker came out again & started at the beginning of Walls Lane, then turned left at the junction. She ventured down a dirt track before coming out at the top of Whitwell Common, where she crossed the road & headed into Whitwell. She went down the B6043 & turned left at the fork with High Street. She then turned right down Greenway, a cul-de-sac. Here the tracker had to stop as it looked like Maddie's scent went through people's gardens.

08-11-2013: A sighting of Maddie was reported. She was apparently running down Mansfield Road (A618 ) from Wales to Killamarsh. This meant she was actually heading in the direction of home, instead of away from it. The lady who saw her turned her car around to find her but she'd already disappeared from view. We searched the area but couldn't find her.

Either she's heading for home, or changed direction again. We're putting up posters, handing out leaflet, spreading the word in any way we can. Please pass Maddie's message on to your friends & family so that we can bring her home safe.

Would like to add that if someone has had Maddie for a while, all we want you to do is bring her back. We're not interested in getting the police involved or anything like that - we just want our dog back!:help:

**MADDIE IS MISSING! PLEASE SHARE, HELP US FIND HER! REWARD!**

£500 reward is offered for safe return of Maddie, our much-loved 15-month-old Jack Russell bitch. She has been spayed so can't be used for breeding!

She vanished in the High Moor area of Killamarsh (S21) on 4-11-2013 about 11.30am.

She was tracked to Barlborough, Pebley & Whitwell by tracker dog. Then we think she was seen running down the hill between Wales Bar & Killamarsh 8-11-2013. No news since.

She's mostly white, with black ears & half black face. Was wearing a black collar with no ID tag but is microchipped.

We think someone may have taken her in & still have her due to lack of news. If you have her, or know who has her, please help us get her back. There will be no trouble & no questions asked. We just want her back. We have 4 other dogs who are depressed that she's gone. Please have a heart & return her to her family.

ANOTHER REPORTED SIGHTING!*

This one is actually about a week old but the total is now up to 4 as this was also in the Wales Bar area!

The gentleman tried to catch her when he saw her but she wouldn't come to him either. My mum had a phone call from him a few minutes ago after he spoke to someone else who has been looking for her - unfortunately he didn't have a number for us when he came across Maddie.

He's offered to go out looking for again now for a couple of hours & we have advised him to be more firm when calling her to him as she is awkward & stubborn - & we now know she's walked away from at least 2 people!

Anyone who's out & about in this area, please keep your eyes peeled & ask other people to as well since it's now looking more & more likely she's staying around this area! Fingers crossed we get our baby back soon! Please share! xxx
