Beakerzoid #6 Posted November 6, 2013 its not just posh folk. i love my steak rare. cremation is for people who cant cook very well. On occasion I am known to have my steak blue - which is basically where the chef shows the meat a picture of a flame and that's about as close to being cooked it gets Can't stand it when people cook meat until it is dry as a bone throughout. Takes all the flavor away.
 Share this content via...

frank ryan #9 Posted November 6, 2013 fair do's - micky la rue reckons he can cook, but if he served me raw meat, I'd give him a verbal hiding and tell him to get it finished, if I wanted it raw, I'd have eaten it in the butchers. ---------- Post added 06-11-2013 at 21:05 ---------- It's steak tartare that gets me. A bridge too far it's also not a steak, a steak is a nice slice of meat, not a lump of raw mince with stuff on.
 Share this content via...

Phanerothyme #12 Posted November 6, 2013 Mainly because you don't want to be eating budget meat raw - it wants cooking. Expensive meat from cows with personal masseurs and dieticians however, yum. No cooking required. If cooking anything was required, we'd have died out as a species pretty early on.
 Share this content via...
