Recent Immigrants make "net contribution" to finances

Recommended Posts

Err, yes, that's exactly what billionaires do. . . willingly give away billions to HRMC :suspect: ;)

Perhaps guilty of hyperbole, your honour, but the tax on football transfers, player wages, contribution through stadium and property purchase, investment and development, will certainly run into millions.

She's just said what the majority of Britons have been saying for years.

She's actually got the job of doing something about it,not nodding along with the public.

She's pandering to populist myth" senior business leaders are saying about that speech.

It seems ironic that she should suddenly start repeating the same expressions as Nigel Farage when not so long ago she was attacking him for his rhetoric on immigration.

She's finally accepted the truth that high levels of immigration are bad for the country, as a collective group imigrants take more job than they create and consume more public services than they pay for.

If only she had the power to change things, to come up inivitive policies to combat immigrantion over the past 5 years otherwise she would like an electioneering hypocrit trying to get her nose in front for the top job in 5 years time.

And I didn't like her shoes today either.

why doesn't she say something to the business owners who are giving them the jobs then?.............migrants don;'t just waltz in and take jobs, businesses employ them, give them the jobs.

If shes so bothered about that, let her tell UK business to stop employing them, let her tell them to pay a living wage to people so that UK people can get off benefits that pay more than working does, and let her tell the UK unemployed to take jobs that migrants are willing to take, and put up with conditions that migrants are willing to put up with, and move to areas that migrants are willing to move to in order to be employed.............but no,she hasn't got the guts to say these things, because anti immigration rhetoric is populist, likely to win her Tory leadership votes and her party support back from UKIP,and finally, immigrants are the easy target to go for..........gutless politician.

I won't hold my breath on her actually doing anything to solve the problem that she finally accepts exists.

Why wouldn't businesses employ migrants if they are legally allowed to? The job of politicians is to represent people in the country. If only British people were allowed to work in this country, wages would be far higher, working conditions better and the country would be far more fair and pleasant place to live. There are no "jobs that British people don't WANT to do". That was a Labour lie. There are jobs that British people don't want to do for minimum wage in dire working conditions.

What makes you think that I would know why she does or doesn't do something, all I know is that she claims to accept the truth about immigration. The Tories now have four years to do something about it.

That's exactly why big business demands mass immigration - to keep wages artificially low, and to save money by not implementing proper health & safety practices.

An unskilled immigrant loses a hand in an industrial accident? Never mind, there are thousands more where he came from.

But why are Labour so gung ho about mass immigration? Both New Labour and Corbyn's "far-left" Labour?

Not true, look at the how the right wing press react every time they hear that working class train drivers earn £50k a year. How dare they!

These drivers had to work their way up over the years to do this job. The right wing press HATE the fact that working class people earn good money. Typical wing wing extremists.

Call me cynical but who are immigrants and migrants more likely to vote for?
