Homebase Meadowhall Closing Down

Someone has just told me about this, does anyone know if this is true? Shame for another store to close but know that Homebase is in trouble financially

Aye well they're building a massive Next, home and furniture type stuff next to Meadowhall retail park so, one door closes and other door opens.

When ever will they get something useful at meadowhall, like grocery shops, fruit shops,etc ?

Probably when meadowhell don't charge silly amount of rent

I'm not surprised. I've been there a lot over the last few months and there's never been more than a handful of customers

 

Shame for the staff though, some may get redeployed into Argos stores

Odd time I have been in it has been empty and massively overpriced. Often you can get the same thing from B&M for a quarter of the price!

Great christmas present for the staff working there, Homebase have terminated their lease early so the Range can take the unit over.
