avidcameron   10 #14 Posted October 20, 2013 Try Atkinsons they seem to have trousers of various leg widths or Ted Williams.  The Atkinson "retro" section is ideal for that extra comfort zone you are seeking.
 Share this content via...
DLJ72   10 #15 Posted October 20, 2013 Try Charles Tyrwhitt  http://www.ctshirts.co.uk  I have similar problems because of my build, and they can customise trouser length without the usual tent sizes of "Big & Tall" specialists  Quality for the price is not bad at all ,half silk lined trousers, strong pockets etc..  If you are not sure they list all measurements and if you call them they will measure leg width etc for you.  Good service used them for years. NorthernStar   11 #18 Posted October 20, 2013 Try Atkinsons they seem to have trousers of various leg widths or Ted Williams.  I'll have a look at those stores, I'd shamefully cut the moor off my radar, I bet good old Atkinson's won't let me down.  Have you put on a lot of weight recently? This might explain why the shop trousers are too tight for you.  No, but I've always had chunky legs and my old trouser fit me the same they're just getting a bit long in the tooth, the trend has changed it's like all the shops are stocking the same style of trousers.  Try Charles Tyrwhitt  http://www.ctshirts.co.uk  I have similar problems because of my build, and they can customise trouser length without the usual tent sizes of "Big & Tall" specialists  Quality for the price is not bad at all ,half silk lined trousers, strong pockets etc..  If you are not sure they list all measurements and if you call them they will measure leg width etc for you.  Good service used them for years.  Worth a look, thanks for the link.  Try TKMAX I always get my trousers from there. You can pick up smart/fashionable French Connection..Calvin Klein etc: £20 to £30.  TK was my first port of call, most of my old trousers are from them but they're just stocking skinny pants now; I bought a pair of saville row trousers from em a couple of weeks back, the waist and length are fine but one wrong move in em and they'll burst at the thighs, incredible hulk style.  Or the Atkinson DIET might be more appropiate.  Now now cheeky, I'll have you know I can crack wallnuts between my thighs. muddycoffee   10 #20 Posted October 21, 2013 If you have always had "chunky legs" why not try some female cut trousers. I had a mate who was a bodybuilder and ladies jeans fitted him much better than gents.
 Share this content via...
spada573 Â Â 10 #21 Posted October 22, 2013 I too have had this problem. I went to Ashley Rogers on City Road. Had 3 pairs made to measure. Perfect. Should have gone to him years ago.
 Share this content via...

gularscute   10 #24 Posted October 22, 2013 I bet in 10 years time, someone will post "I feel really old saying this but I can't find those carrot leg trousers anymore, the ones with the crotch that sags down to your knees, forces you to walk like a penguin and makes it look like you've suffered heavy faecal incontinence".
