Hair Removal Methods

Recommended Posts

Hey, I am a 33 year old chap and have been removing my body hair for the last few years.

I used to go the waxing route but found it very expensive and very painful.

I also went the Veet route but it was very messy and made my skin sting, it is strong stuff.

So I now use one of those battery powered lady shavers to take off the bits and finish of with a wet shave.

This takes an ago to do and is very messy, I lay a towel on bottom of the bath then put a few bin bags on top, close the shower curtain and do by stuff on the bags then throw them in bin after.

This is free and my skin does not get any rashes as when I have finished, I take a plain shower with no soap.

I am going to get my back waxed soon as I need it doing.

I am wondering if any other men do this and what methods other people do to remove the gunk, I hate being a bloke.

Also, what do women like on men, hair or bits all tidied up, what about hairless men.

Have you got a real hair problem as in excessive hair growth or just like to be bald? I can't understand why blokes want to remove body hair unless its excessive. I think it make them look prepubescent. :gag:

I can understand it might spoil the fake tan and make it hard to see the muscle definition if you are a body builder but then I don't like excessive muscles either. :gag:

If you are really bothered about excessive hair growth have IPL. I saw a young lad on a TV programme this week who had IPL. He had excessive hair growth all over but went for lots of IPL treatment. Have it done professionally though rather than a cheap home kit.

Why?

Some men do. Notably porn performers and body builders. I think it's a character defect personally.

Also, what do women like on men, hair or bits all tidied up, what about hairless men.

Women aren't a homogenous group. Some women like it, some don't.

Some women like hairy men, some don't.

If you dislike doing it so much then don't ..... simple.

I prefer a man with body hair..... masculine

Men are meant to be hairy.

I prefer natural (but trimmed!!) on a bloke.

IMO the best home hair removal method is epilation - you can get epilators that you can use in the shower/bath or dry. It's very painful and time consuming at first but then you just need to quickly wizz over the areas maybe once a week or every couple of weeks or so. You can shave in the meantime if you chose to as well.

You need to make sure you keep the area exfoliated and moisturised to avoid ingrown hairs.

If you want hair properly removing however the ONLY way is via electrolysis (laser isn't actually permanent or proven).

You are wrong, laser does work if you complete the course. I had two sessions on my armpit hair many years ago, my skin is fair and my hair dark brown. I never finished the course but their is much less hair than before I started.

Sugaring is less painfull and quite easy to do on yourself.
