Gold ring real diamonds

Hi I have a 9ct gold ring with 11 real diamonds in, i'm wondering where is the best place to sell it? As a lot of places only pay for the gold now day's

Probably best to have it valued and then sell it privately

Do you know if I would get like a receipt to prove what it is if I got it valued, Also do you recommend any places to get it valued? Thank you for your help.

Most places will only pay scrap value so no point in getting it valued, unless it's the value in the gold and the diamonds.

 

There should be a bunch more value in the diamonds than the gold as it's only 9ct, unless they're teeny tiny diamonds??

Beaverbrooks, F Hinds and other large jewellers hold valuation days. I took a ring and watch to Beaverbrooks, they valued, photographed and issued a certificate for them.

Maybe an auction house will give a valuation. Just a couple of ideas.

Thought it was about £60 to get valued with a cert and that was a few years ago

Sheffield auction house by Heeley Retail Park are very helpful and donot charge for valuations. You can go in without an appointment on any Tues Weds or Thurs
