The Music - Maker are a 5 piece rock ‘n’ roll band: a psychedelic bluesy punch stirred with a fistful of soul. Their influences range from the early blues legends through the stomping pop and soul of the sixties, to the raw power of punk.

Coming on like the ******* child of The Rolling Stones, The Faces, Free, T-Rex and Primal Scream, Maker deliver a fresh, sonic swagger defined by their own bluesy, boozy guitar riffs and roaring Hammond.

Maker’s sublime chaos live has even been recognised by the national tabloids following a dominating performance supporting Indie royalty Pete Doherty. Having shared festival bills & main stages with the likes of Dizzee Rascal, The Cribs, Mark Ronson & Supergrass, Maker have also supported one of the UK’s biggest bands, Ocean Colour Scene and were recently the opening act for the band’s guitarist Steve Cradock.

The Velcro Teddy Bears Their musical blend of original acoustic vibes intermingled with some good ol' Northern fried rock n'roll has gathered quite a following throughout the country. The boys who run The RS bar, work hard for the local music scene, putting on open mics and gigs in the splendid bar they have made their home. Established as a two piece, they soon adopted sibling Josh to bass duties, and found a rhythmic superstar to fill their box (cajon; Spanish drum) needs. Their stripped back style and amicable nature will be sure to get a toe-tapped and raise a smile.

The Comedy - Paul Pirie began his stand-up career in 2006 quickly establishing himself on the Scottish comedy circuit. With a driving force for achievement Paul worked his way into the London clubs and was launched onto the UK comedy scene, emerging as one of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK comedy circuit. Paul’s career has encompassed TV, (appearing in Ikea's April 2011 comedy based TV advert), Film and Radio alongside his burgeoning skill as a stand-up.

His hilarity and comedic ability has earned him huge popularity with comedy goers and bookers across the world, gigging as far abroad as Australia and for diverse audiences such as The Armed Forces. Pauls work is superbly individual and put simply, delivers a refreshing burst of laugh out loud comedy that leaves audiences in raptures.

“… a brilliant natural comedian…” Evening News

“…a hilarious rubber faced clown…” The Scotsman

"…a most impressive physical comedian…" Chortle

Rich Wilson started off as a bar man at Up The Creek and in 2004 made the leap to becoming a fully fledged comedian in his own right and has never looked back. Rich has that very special and unique gift that only a few comics have, immediate warmth and likeability.

He's a natural born comic who can play any room and is guaranteed to win over any audience. Last year he supported Tom Stade on his national tour. You can catch Rich in all the major comedy clubs up and down the country including The Comedy Store, The Last Laugh, Jongleurs, Highlight and Up The Creek to name but a few.
