nice photos... used to love streams as a kid would always spend hours trying to make a little dam with rocks ..

 

would still do it now but would look kinda stupid or crazy....growing up sux

well i went to longshaw at 730am last weds never saw a soul for over 2 hours so if u went at that time u could play and none would ever know lol

yeah knowing my luck a coach party would show up and all see a 40 year old man fooling around in the stream..streight jacket and white van comes to mind ..

simon i went out to longshaw today got there at 0830 ,

then escaped and crossed the road and did the walk burbage edge ,burbage bridge,higgar tor ,carl wark and back to longshaw

saw a few people but not a lot

I did get in the stream at castelton yesterday to play with the baby ducks

i know what you mean ,and the ones that get a right ****ty on if nobody likes there pics that they spent hours doing in Photoshop because the orig was so rubbish

yeah thats the ones ..

 

and very true rpsmith lil ducklings always have the cute cuddle factor .

was so shocked how tame even the lil tiny ones was came streight over and started pecking at my boot at one point it let me stroke its head ..

that said they will be well used to the public at castelton ..

 

off up there again maybe at the weekend gona drag the wife up mam tor told her she has to stand right on the edge for the best views :hihi:

hope the para gliders are out again.
