Is it possible to put two photos in one?

Is it possible to join two separate photos into one for example a picture of a person and a picture of a cake and put them together?

 

Also how can I edit people in the back ground? Can anyone help?

You can either use 'Photocake' or just put the two pics next to each other and take a photo of that ... pretty easy stuff.
