I don't think any would use it, as a correct size square of wood is more than adequate, and is the norm...

But perhaps you could try builders, electrical contractors, and building and construction firms...

You'd be better going through the panels suppliers such as Saftronics (Leeds), Switchgear and Instrumentation (Bradford) and Controline (Halifax) etc.

You've obviously not been in may control/switch rooms, and have no understanding of the industry.

What sort of matting? What exactly does it do? I currently work for a fairly large industrial electrical/switchgear company, and have been in the game 20 years, I might be able to point you in the right direction,

Thanks, we stock 6mm & 9mm

There in a 10 meter roll but we can cut down to 1 meter lenghts

We do supply some edmundson branches, but selling direct to the users would be better for us and the end user

Its a rubber mat sometimes used on the floors of switchrooms with HV switchgear.

Industries/companies that use HV switchgear - power stations, mining, steel making, cement works, etc

This is because most people have a different pattern of leisure to yourself. The person was understandably confused by a post placed on a general forum which focused on a rather obscure, specialised piece of equipment.
