Marriage for life?

Recommended Posts

After being married to the same person for over 45 years, can anyone honestly say if they had their time all over again, they would still marry the same person, be 100% honest now folks.

Delboy.

Echos of the old Max Miller joke,

" I 've been married for 40 years now......and I 'm still in love with the same woman. If the wife finds out, she 'll kill me ".

Married 43 years this year (June) and would do it just the same again.

We were childhood sweethearts at school (as they used to call it then), didn't see each other for several years (changed schools) then literally bumped into each other at 18.

We became engaged and married when we were 21 when we'd saved up enough in 1970.

46 years and wouldn't change him for anything. After a whirlwind romance they said it wouldn't last.
