Confused!! 120 bus help please..

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a first mainline Sheffield weekly ticket (£11.50).

Can I use this on a Stagecoach 120?

Some people have said I can others I can't and I don't want to look a dimwit trying to get on a stagecoach with a first weekly ticket?

Thank you in advance xXx

I was going to direct you to the 'optio' ticket info (services 52 & 120), but it seems to have disappeared.

My understanding is that bus-only tickets can be used on both companies' buses on the shared routes (52 and 120). My experience is that a lot of drivers don't know the rules and others turn a blind eye. If I were you just get on a Stagecoach bus if it's the first one to come along and ask the driver.

I asked as I got off and he went on about you can use the weekly Sheffield mainline on a 120 as it's a special route?!?!?!

I'll just try my luck ;) xXx

First Mainline? If you've got one of them tickers it will definitely be out of date.

Sorry but no you can't. If it says First week Sheffield on the ticket, it can only be used on First buses. As previously stated, only optio tickets can be used on shared operator routes. Hope this helps. :)
