Question for any Dinner Ladies out there

Are there any SF members who work as dinner ladies, a friend is looking for work in this area and would be grateful for any tips, ie- where do they advertise the jobs/rates of pay/hours that sort of thing.

 

Any help or advise would help her immensly.

Hi, I'm a teacher, not a dinner lady, and I work in Derbyshire. I know that they advertise their vacancies on http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk. If you follow the link to job vacancies, then education, then non-teaching, you should find what you're after. I assume that the Sheffield city council website is similar.

there are dinner supervisor jobs going at king edwards lower school in crosspool sheffield, and two hours working in the kitchen preparing food for children, pm me if you want more details
