Ad Yield manager

I am getting the lower bar pop up with a request for Ad Yield Manager and its a real pain as when you press cancel it takes no notice.

I have read numerouse sites on how to remove but none of them relate to my issue it seems.

If it is hidden in other programs then I cant find it.

 

Apart from a total re boot of the PC does anyone have a simple way to stop this ?

 

It only seems to happen when I am in yahoo mail ?

I've seen this twice today. Mixidj seemed to be the culprit.

Sorry, No.... I have run this 3 times now.

 

I will say though it is only with Yahoo mail and its the pop up promt bar at the bottom. I am not getting anything else. Its just very annoying and seems to pop up when I click on a mail.

This seems to be an issue with Yahoo when it happens not much you can do.

Have just gone over to Firefox and its gone, for now that is!!

Also I have noticed the searches seem to be faster but perhaps just something new.

Yes. A quick google search shows quite a lot of people complaining about it recently.

 

If it's a randomly generated popup regardless of the site you're on then it's likely adware that's the cause , but it does appear to be something specific to Yahoo mail.

 

AdwCleaner has removed a fair bit of junk though, which why your searches are faster.
