Bassett's on Fire S6 - Updated: Fire at Symmetry Medical

Just been called by a family member telling me that Bassett's is on fire (just in the area)

 

smoke can be seen from miles around the area (can see it from here in the general location), loads of fire trucks at scene and police chopper out above the area,

 

any posters with more info about the extent of the damage?

Well that would account for why the police helicopter is circling with the search lights on intermittently then.

I live in hillsborough just looks out of window see the helicopter but no smoke..

i can here the helicopter as well. nt seen any smoke though either, firemen must have contained it quickly.

I can see lots of smoke coming from there at Stannington.

It's not Bassetts that gone up, it a firm around that area that's gone up.

somebody who works at the dogs has posted on facebook that its a chemical spill but nothing to do with Bassetts. she says it is under control. the dog track has been evacuated hence her knowledge.

Symmetry Medical. Fire started in an acid bath, the building it was in was destroyed.

hi yes it was symmetry medical I work there x yes it was the acid shop its all gutted we as well work all hrs so glad to hear no 1 was hurt its getting investergeted as we don't know how it started
