This week saw runs at 40/40 parkruns in the Yorkshire & Humber region. Total region attendance was 9852; an increase of 737 (8.1%) from last week. This was the highest cumulative attendance since 03-Jun (the last time attendance exceeded 10000). Of the 39 venues that ran both last week and this, 21 had an increase in attendance, 15 saw a decrease and three(Northallerton (90), Rother Valley (294) and Rotherham (69)) were the same. Northallerton has now had an attendance of 90 for three of the last five weeks and four in the last ten; Rotherham has had 69 on three of the last six weeks (and a 68). It was Brighouse's first anniversary. Over the region as a whole, the average Saturday parkrun attendance has increased over the last year by 27% when compared to the previous year (from 6986 to 8842). Do any people walk some of it at Hallam?  Yup - plenty of people walk, some walk / run, some charge at it, blow up and walk the last mile. There's no judgement at Parkrun, it's all good
 Share this content via...
