Interesting re the average times. Makes sense based on `type` of participant and course difficulty.

Dalby Forest Parkrun was really nice. About 150 runners in beautiful North Yorkshire forest. Not hilly but tricky terrain and I was 18th, I think in 22 something for first parkrun of the year. Round Sheffield Run next weekend!

I was trying to indicate which of our parkruns is the toughest but, people who love stats know that there are many ways to show differences. Try these:-

Female Record time

1. 16:39 Hallam

2. 17:00 RVp

3. 17:26 Castle

4. 17:48 Hillsborough

5. 18:03 Concord

6. 18:36 Clifton Park

7. 18:44 Graves

Male Record time

1. 15:23 Hallam

2. 15:26 RVp

3. 15:54 Hillsborough

4. 16:21 Concord

5. 16:26 Clifton Park

6. 16:41 Castle

7. 16:43 Graves

Pretty consistent, except for Castle where either the male record is exceptional or the female record is ripe for lowering.

Still wish someone would offer a junior run somewhere in the city. Any new parkruns on the cards?

Yes it was Paul Sinton-Hewitt and, I assume, his wife. By fluke I have a photo of them setting off.

Did my usual mistake. Started too far back and ended up doing a 30 second negative split at Graves on the second lap. Rain came down a fair bit second lap too.

If anyone is planning to join us at RVp this week, or any other week, and you come by car, show your barcode at the gate on the way into parkrun, and you only pay a pound instead of five. Unfortunately, this discount doesn't work at other times.

The park is really supportive, so we encourage anyone who has time, to join us for a coffee afterwards.

Happy running.

Interesting program (The Fall) on last night about parkrunner A233137, the age group record holder for Delta and Potchefstroom.

Statto/Tourist alert - - - substitute your pr number in this little beauty....

http://www.parkrun.org.uk/results/athleteeventresultshistory/?athleteNumber=201291&eventNumber=0

. . . . and you'll find the event number of every run that you've done. My interesting occurrence is 6 courses at Event no.80?
