I`ve only done Endcliffe once and was put off by being boxed in for ages. Not fun imho. Two events? Maybe! Or another one at Millhouses or Ponderosa or somewhere!

Me too. Graves and Hillsborough are near capacity too.

Different start times is a non starter .

Millhouses has to go on the pavement and probably Ponderosa is too small ,  even a 4 lapper.

Upper Porter Valley would br great with  stepping stones included as a USP?

Limb Valley as an out and back would be a killer but I've not measured it.

Eccy Woods?

Is there a path all around Damflask?

Upper Derwent Valley?

Somewhere around Redmires?

Well, my other half gave it a try.  She thinks the large crowd might actually be of benefit to her, otherwise she'd have given up at about 1.5km and stopped!

Andrew Burgess-Tupling,  from facebook, parkrun statsgeek page -

That we made it to the first week in February without any disruption from the weather should be taken as a positive. Nonetheless, this week saw the fewest events and parkrunners in the Y&H region since 3 March 2018 (when there were 8/43 events and just 1684 runners).

There were 22/51 parkruns in the Yorkshire & Humber region (too many cancellations to list).
Of 21 runs completed both last week and this, four had higher attendances and 17 were lower.
Total attendance was 5108, a decrease of 9322 (64.6%) from the previous week.

Hillsborough (579) equalled its attendance record and Storthes Hall (250) set a new record. Both no doubt boosted by other local cancellations.

The average weekly attendance over the last 12 months has increased by 16.1% (8928 to 10369). The mean attendance per parkrun per week over the history of parkrun for the region is 203.9; the median is 164.
