There was also a tree blown down and blocking the bridge at the Endcliffe Parkrun. A small group of runners worked like ants to clear it just in time for the run to start.

 

Partly true! It was actually mostly one random guy from the Peak District who was walking in the park and decided to start clearing it and taking wood for his fire - helpful Parkrunners just joined in while they were walking down to the start area

 

Hopefully no such drama tomorrow!

Hallam was on today, 498 runners. Extremely frosty.

Total = 197

 

A massive turnout considering the conditions.

Castle had another bumper due to the Striders Knockout Comp and handled it well. Well done to them. Any group of runners could do it at any parkrun. I think its a good thing. ?

Widnes for me - three laps on good paths and pretty flat so quite a quick course.

I didn't realise Concord was on 31/01/15 - they said on the FB page they were going to cancel so I didn't bother. Gutted!

 

Castle was on 07/02/15 - reckon there was around the 30 - 40 mark but guess results will be up shortly.
