What are the charges

I'm due to leave my council property in a few weeks, but spent loads of money on all the doors, does anyone know what the charges are for me taking them off and not replacing them, too good to leave for the council to take off and skip and put standard ones on x

At a minimum I would guess 60-70 quid a door inc fitting, but probably more. Buy some cheep doors yourself and fit.

It won't help if you leave them either, because they will put them back to council standard & charge you for that "privilage" anyway.

Post in swaps/for sale thread, someone who's bought a council property would want them.

 

Swap yours for theirs and cash your way.

to replace an internal door the charge is in the region of £130 per door, but you can ask for permission to leave your own then you wont be recharged
